Rétinographe
A digital fundus camera can be used to take a picture of the fundus — the rear section of the eye that comprises the retina, macula, fovea, optic disc and posterior pole. A digital fundus camera is made up of camera using a microscope. Both a lamp or flash provides the light necessary for photo taking, and depending on the camera photographs at various angles of perspective — from narrow to broad — can be obtained. The image can then be used by an ophthalmologist for treatment and diagnosis.
